I m working in a domestic bpo and have 10th pass certificate. Someone suggested me to do online CCNA cource so that I can get better job in international comapnies. I cant do regular classes . Is it possible for me do such cource thru online > Please guide me . Thank you !

Not a chance. A huge part of the CCNA exam involves using the CCLI (Cisco Command Line Interface), which if you’ve never studied or used the CCLI, you will fail the exam spectacularly.

My husband had to retake his exam 4 times until he passed. He said that is the norm. Many people just give up because it’s so hard. There are more people who are exposed to it while on the job than there are people who are certified in it–that is something rare. There are resources out there: books, DVD training videos, 2 week training classes that will better prepare you for it. I actually sat in for one of his training courses; it mostly revolved around a lecture and some worksheets. I saw some routers sitting on a utility shelf in the back but like I said, it mostly focused on the instructor drawing flow charts on the blackboard.

Question by tfmemnoch: Is training required to get a CCNA, or is it acceptable to just pass the test?
Simply put, I’m wondering if a formal training course is required to get a CCNA certification, or if merely taking/passing the test is adequate.

You don’t have to take a course to take a state test. It is about 100 questions, and then you also have to do a skills test. Which, requires doing something to the patient and transfer. It is recommended though and lots that try to do it with out the course fail and waste their money. But, a lot of employers do require a 75 hour CNA course.
