Question by GSD: Why would a friend say a CCNA certification would make you too overqualified for jobs?
I thought it was a requirement and a neccesity for a networking job and the reason for being next in line for layoff.
ccna is just theory its almost useless without the practical work experience. so i dont agree what he says. i dont care how many certs i have if i dont have the exp i will be passed up for someone who has it.

you are right, without having practical experience, you cannot handle or solve the real world problems and understand what exactly they are and how to solve them…

I am from a computer engineeing background and have done a couple of courses on networking. I need the certificate to enhance my employability.
