What happens after you consolidate a federal student loan?
When you include a Federal student loan into debt consolidation?

I’m starting my student loan payments of $120 for 15 years. I’m kind of freaking out. I have a full time job, and don’t spend much money. However I am getting older and things are getting more expensive. What do you pay for loans per month? Are you having a hard time?

My grandfather co-signed a private student loan for me. Now that I am done with school, I am the one paying off the loan but since my grandfather co-signed it shows up on his credit report and not mine. Is there anyway for me to get this added to my credit history? Or is there something else I can do for the future, if necessary, to show that I have actually been making the payments and not my grandfather. Thanks!

Just curious about what happens, I have a $50,000 private student loan out and it was cosigned by my grandmother so I could recieve a much better interest rate. I am wondering what happens when she passes away? Assuming I make my payments and my account is in good standing, they wouldnt take it away from her retirement accounts or any savings she has right? Any details are appreciated.

How would my life be? Would it be really hard life if i get a student loan? i’m planning to attend a private college thats cost a lot every year. Can someone advise me over this. Help. If the tuition is like30,000 each year and i will be attending college for 4 years how much would i have to pay each month for student loans. By the way im going in health care administration.
